Debarati Ray is a spiritual writer and a poet who usually explores something different from this tangible world and speaks of an energy that surrounds our being, our existence, more in a creative way. Sometimes she also depicts various incidents and happenings that will help you to think in an intuitive way where you yourself can hear the soft mumblings of your psyche, your soul and where your mind will automatically find that eternal peace, you`re yearning for a long period of time. She is a bilingual poet. Some of her Bengali poems have already been published in some reputed Kolkata Book fair magazines and in one of the international anthologies ( in Bengali ) at International Kolkata Book Fair, 2023.
She was awarded with the second prize for her Bengali poem ‘ Bangla Majhe ‘ from Bangladesh in ‘Amar ekush kobita protijogita, February 2023’. She has already been honoured by Krittibas Samman 2023 from ‘ Biswa Bangla Sahitya Mancha’ (Howrah).
